Project Description
The Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Skills (YEES) Project aims to tackle two pressing issues in Timor-Leste's youth employment: limited opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship. The project is funded by KOICA for six years starting in 2022.
Objective of the Assignment
The Soft-skills Master Trainer will deliver Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions to selected trainers from stakeholders, including SEFOPE, MYSAC, training centers, and universities. The objectives include:
- Help trainers acquire essential soft skills
- Equip trainers with knowledge and skills to deliver effective soft-skills training
- Teach various instructional methods and techniques
- Equip trainers with effective facilitation skills
- Guide trainers in developing comprehensive training materials
- Improve trainers' communication skills
Expected Outputs and Deliverables
- Submission of report for the first batch of ToT sessions by August 23, 2024
- Submission of report for the second batch of ToT sessions and final report by September 27, 2024
Qualifications
- University degree in Human Resource management, communications, management, or related field
- At least two years of experience in human resource management and youth development programmes
- Strong understanding of Timor-Leste's labor law and employment landscape
- Experience in developing and delivering training packages
- Fluency in English and Tetum
