Background
UNDP is seeking a Project Coordinator to support implementation of three strategic GEF biodiversity projects in Timor-Leste. These projects focus on aligning NBSAPs with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, developing biodiversity finance plans, and supporting national reporting to the CBD.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Day-to-Day Project Coordination, Management and Implementation
- Planning, Monitoring, Reporting, and Communication
- Knowledge Building and Sharing
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Natural Resources Management, Environmental Science, Biodiversity Conservation (or Bachelor's with 4 years experience)
- Minimum 2 years (master's) or 4 years (bachelor's) relevant experience in project management
- Experience with environmental projects and multilateral agreements
- Excellent project management and coordination skills
- Fluency in Tetum and English required, Portuguese desirable
