Technical Project Officer

About the Position

RIMES is inviting qualified candidates to apply for the position of Technical Project Officer – Timor-Leste under the GCF–UNEP FP171 Project (Individual Consultant).

The position is based in Dili and will support the coordination and implementation of project activities, including technical coordination with DNMG and national stakeholders, operationalization of early warning and climate information systems, training and capacity building, field activities, reporting, and project documentation.

Qualifications

Candidates with relevant experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply:

• Technical project coordination
• Meteorology/climate services
• Early warning systems
• Disaster risk reduction
• Data management
• ICT
• Development projects

Experience working with government institutions in Timor-Leste is particularly valued.
