The Partnership for Inclusive Prosperity / Parseria ba Prosperidade Inklusivu (PROSIVU) Program is an Australian Government program supported by DT Global. PROSIVU is the next phase of Australia's governance support to Timor-Leste. The program will extend Australia's longstanding partnership with Timor-Leste in support of good governance and economic policy development. It is Australia's primary program for providing support to Timor-Leste's central government agencies and economic line-ministries.

Position Overview

The Telecommunications Governance Adviser will provide targeted strategic and technical assistance to the Government of Timor-Leste in the design, establishment, and early operationalisation of the CTL, EP, responsible for the management of the TLSSC.

This is a short-term international position.

Essential Experience and Knowledge

• Advanced degree in telecommunications, engineering, public policy, or related field
• Demonstrated experience advising on submarine cable systems, international connectivity infrastructure, or comparable strategic telecommunications assets
• Experience in advising in jurisdictions that have not had significant exposure to submarine cable systems is advantageous
