Background
Plan International's Global Strategy aims to deliver significant change for girls and boys, with a special emphasis on gender equality. The Civil Society Strengthening (CSS) programme in Timor-Leste, funded by Sida, aims to build the capacity of Civil Society organisations (CSOs) for sustainability.
Objective
The training aims to increase conceptual learning and practical skills of CSO partners to strengthen their capacity to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
Tasks/Methodology
- Design the training based on learning needs assessments
- Develop required training materials, tools, and methodologies
- Deliver one face-to-face training in Dili, Timor-Leste (3 days maximum)
- Share relevant technical details, presentations, and training materials
- Support CSO partners in developing/revising their fundraising strategies
Deliverables
- Submitting a training design / plan based on the consultation with Regional Civil Society Strengthening and Partnership Advisor and Plan Timor-Leste team and on the outcomes of the learning needs assessments shared by participants who sign-up for the training;
- Sharing training materials, tools and methodologies;
- Conducting two batches training one face to face and one online;
- Submission relevant technical details, presentations and training materials.Schedule

Qualifications
- Experience in designing and delivering fundraising training courses
- Knowledge of child rights, gender equality, and related topics
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Tetun and English
- Familiarity with Timor-Leste context (advantage)
