Assignment Background
Plan International Timor-Leste aims to build staff capacity to generate ideas, and input and write a quality proposal to generate maximum income to meet the annual target of Plan Timor-Leste and meet the country's strategy. The expected number of participants maximum are 30.
Objectives of the assignment
- Improve the overall competency levels of organizational staff in the art and science of proposal writing.
- Equip staff with the essential skills required to articulate project ideas, goals, and impact effectively.
Scope of the Consultancy
The key assignments include:
- Pre-workshop preparation
- Workshop facilitation
- Post workshop evaluation and reporting
Key deliverables
- A package of materials on proposal writing
- A workshop report including pre and post-test results
- A recommendation for continuous improvement of the group
Working Modality
This will be a 8-days contract based in the Timor-Lete's Country Office of Plan International Timor-Leste.
Qualification and experience
- At least 5 years of experience
- Demonstrated expertise in donor proposal writing
- Relevant academic qualifications
- Extensive experience in designing and facilitating workshops
- In-depth knowledge of the donor landscape
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Understanding and commitment to gender transformative approach
- Excellent Tetun and English speaking/writing skills

Budget
Budget allocation for consultant is 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 USD only.
