Program Coordinator, Youth Employability Accelerator Project (YEAP)

Summary of Role and Responsibility

The Program Coordinator leads the day-to-day management and delivery of YEAP, ensuring high quality implementation, partner coordination, youth engagement, safeguarding, monitoring, and reporting. The role requires strong program management skills, youth development expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple training and mentoring streams across different municipalities.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in development studies, Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in youth development, employment, entrepreneurship, livelihoods, or skills training programs
  • Strong coordination and project management experience, including activity planning and budget management
  • Demonstrated experience working with youth, including marginalized youth groups
  • Excellent facilitation, interpersonal communication, and mentoring skills
  • Experience engaging employers, private sector actors, or financial institutions
  • Experience and skills in stakeholder liaison, including with government and in public policy influencing and research
  • Experience delivering or coordinating ILO's SYB/GYB or similar entrepreneurship curricula
  • Experience in micro-enterprise development, value chains, or product/quality improvement
  • Experience in youth internships, apprenticeships, or employer partnerships
