Main Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, manage, moderate, monitor, and follow up on training programs and workshops in Timor-Leste and/or ASEAN Member States.
- Coordinate meetings with government institutions and national/international organizations.
- Deliver presentations and briefings on project- and training-related activities.
- Liaise with media organizations to publicize project activities and provide translation when required.
- Draft official letters and other correspondence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Japanese Advisors.
Qualifications
- Timor-Leste nationality.
- Bachelor's degree in business, international relations, law, tourism, engineering, or another relevant field (a degree from a foreign university is an advantage).
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in organizing workshops, seminars, or large meetings.
- Experience in stakeholder coordination, document drafting, reporting, and meeting facilitation.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Tetum.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internet use.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment is an advantage.
- Strong communication, organizational, and reporting skills, with a willingness to learn.
Contract Details
- Contract Period: 1 September 2026 – 28 February 2027
- Expected Start Date: 1 September 2026
- Duty Office: Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Dili, Timor-Leste
