About the Program
The Nabilan: Ending Violence Against Women and Children Program began in 2014 and is now in the final stage of Phase III. Nabilan is an Australian aid initiative implemented by The Asia Foundation in Timor-Leste on behalf of the Government of Australia and in collaboration with the Government of Timor-Leste's Ministry for Social Solidarity and Inclusion (MSSI) and the Secretary of State for Equality (SEI).
Responsibilities
The Technical Coordinator for Services will support the implementation of all activities in the Nabilan workplan, particularly the work under the Services pillar.
Technical Input
- Lead the implementation of the case management audit process for partners
- Lead the development of a disability inclusion plan for the Services pillar
- Lead the development of appropriate client services standards
- Support the re-accreditation process for Certificate III in Social Services
- Manage the child-friendly counseling training program
- Provide case management support to partners
- Engage with government stakeholders
- Review reports and support M&E systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Masters degree in social work, community or international development, or related field
- Five years of previous relevant experience in development programs in Timor-Leste
- Previous experience in working on programs aimed at ending violence against women
- Experience in developing training or mentoring staff
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Tetum
- Willingness to travel outside of Dili
