World Vision Timor-Leste (WVTL) is a faith-based humanitarian and development organization committed to enhancing the well-being of children, youth, and communities. Operating in Timor-Leste since 1995, WVTL currently implements programs across Aileu, Baucau, Bobonaro, Covalima, Oecusse, Manatuto, and Ermera.

Project Overview

The POWER (Promotion of Women through Economic Empowerment and Rights) project supports vulnerable Timorese women in Covalima and Oecusse to seek entrepreneurial opportunities, alternative livelihoods, and participate in household and community decision-making.

Consultant Roles and Tasks

The consultant will be responsible for either one or both deliverables:

1. Documentary Video Production

• Develop storyboard and script
• Conduct video recording in target municipalities
• Edit and finalize video with English subtitles
• Use own production equipment

2. Pamphlet Design and Development

• Design three educational pamphlets on GBV, livestock care, and vegetable care
• Create visually appealing and user-friendly materials
• Integrate project branding

Requirements for Video Making

• Experience in producing 5-7 minute documentation videos
• Own equipment required
• Previous work samples required
• English subtitle expertise
• Drone operation is a plus
• Timorese candidates preferred

Requirements for Pamphlet Making

• Experience in GBV and Agriculture pamphlets
• Previous work samples required
• Knowledge of GBV and Agriculture
• Independent work capability
• Ability to produce attractive visual materials
• Timorese candidates preferred
