About the Assignment
World Vision Timor-Leste is seeking a professional translator to translate the Eco IMPACT+ Curriculum on Environmental Sustainability and Climate Action for Adolescents (28,302 words), between English and Tetum and deliver the final product in a clear, consistent, and professionally formatted document.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree
- Native Tetum speaker (preferred)
- Fluent or advanced professional proficiency in English
- At least 3–5 years of professional Tetum–English–Tetum translation experience (preferred)
- Strong writing and document-formatting skills
- Technical knowledge of agriculture, food security, nutrition, environmental sustainability, or climate action (an advantage)
- Experience working with or for INGOs in Timor-Leste (preferred)

- Summary of Previous Work (1–2 pages), outlining translation experience and completed assignments
- Translation Sample (1–2 pages) from English to Tetum, including original English text and Tetum translation

- Financial Proposal/Budget, indicating translation rates per page or per word in USD, including all associated costs
