UNICEF is seeking an International Inclusive Education (IE) Specialist to undertake a situation analysis and develop a systemwide strategy to improve inclusive education in Timor-Leste.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a situational analysis of inclusive education in Timor-Leste
- Develop a systemwide strategy to improve inclusive education
- Review existing inclusive education policies and guidelines
- Map current inclusive education interventions and services
- Draft and finalize a systemic strategy and M&E framework
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Education, Inclusive Education, or other social science
- Extensive experience supporting governments in low-income countries in developing and implementing inclusive education policies and strategic plans
- Experience in conducting research in inclusive education and stakeholder consultations in low-income settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing functionality screening tools, inclusive teacher support systems, policies, and M&E frameworks
