The consultant will be required to:
- Provide training on Agroforestry, with a focus on nursery establishment and seedling production and distributions across three Municipalities; Baucau, Bobonaro and Viqueque
- Implement an approved/agreed training methodology or approach as outlined in the proposal
- Deliver a final report upon completion.
Skills and experience required:
- Demonstrated expertise in agroforestry practices, specifically related to the production and distribution of tree seedlings
- Prior extensive experience in the development of high quality training curricula, and clear example of methodology used.
- Experience in nurseries and/or seedlings production and trainings
- Understand benefits of different potential trees for climate change adaptation and mitigation
- Demonstrated capability to meet deadlines, actively engage in discussion and incorporate feedback in a timely manner
- Demonstrated capacity to work independently and apply sound judgement.
