ELTAA English Language Training Specialist

About the Role

The Partnership for Inclusive Prosperity / Parseria ba Prosperidade Inklusivu (PROSIVU) Program is seeking an International ELTAA English Language Training Specialist who will play a pivotal role in undertaking a comprehensive needs assessment and establishing the program framework, including curriculum and syllabus priorities. To ensure the program's integration into Timor-Leste's government systems and its successful implementation, the role will work in collaboration with MNEC-DGAA, the Civil Service Commission (CSC), PROSIVU, and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other language) qualification.

Essential Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Demonstrated senior experience in conducting English language training needs assessment, placement testing, curriculum development, and training and assessment.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, working with teams of professionals and an ability to work under pressure and within tight timelines.

Desirable Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Experience in DFAT-funded programs or other donor-led initiatives, ensuring understanding of donor expectations, compliance requirements, and program accountability.
• Experience working in Timor-Leste or in a similar country context.
