Project Background
Space to Lead! is a global programme funded by Sida through Plan International Sweden, implemented between October 2025- December 2029 (39 months). The overall aim is to contribute to a vibrant and pluralistic civil society where children and youth, particularly girls and young women aged 10-24, are empowered, exercise their rights and enjoy gender equality.
Purpose of the Baseline
To measure the status of the programme's outcome indicators and indicators for crosscutting perspectives. The baseline will feed into Space to Lead's global baseline and will be used to set benchmarks and monitor progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct baseline assessment of project indicators
- Use mixed methods including surveys, focus group discussions and key informant interviews
- Ensure ethical standards and safeguarding measures throughout the research process
- Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of data
- Develop sampling strategy and data collection tools
Required Qualifications
- Documented experience in results-based management, monitoring and evaluation
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Knowledge of civil society strengthening, protection from violence and SRHR
- Experience with gender inclusion, conflict sensitivity and climate resilience
