This position is paid at a daily rate for days worked only, starting at $36.83 USD to $53.40 USD per
day, depending on experience and salary history, with a total period of performance not to exceed 90
days.
Housing and meals may be provided at the training site via allowance or provision by Peace Corps
during the Pre-Service Training period. No other benefits are provided.
Minimum Requirements:
At a minimum, the successful candidate’s CV should demonstrate the following:
- Education/Certification: Vocational Certificate or equivalent training certificate beyond high school
- Years of Technical Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field
- Training Experience: Experience in organizing and/or facilitating training.
- Cultural Experience: Experience working with people from other cultures
- Proficiency in oral and written English: Proficient in English and fluency in Tetun (written and spoken) is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant area such as education, community development, social science, or international development
- Three or more years relevant work experience
- Experience in community development or support to communities in income generation work preferred
- Experience in budgeting, logistics, and/or procurement for a training
- Experience in designing and facilitating trainings in any topic related to business, entrepreneurship, youth development, etc.
- Experience in designing and facilitating dynamic cross-cultural training sessions
- Experience as a participant or trainer in trainings on cross-cultural dynamics or international relations.
- Work experience with an international organization
- Ability to speak Bahasa Indonesian and Portuguese is desirable.
