Oxfam in Timor-Leste is seeking an experienced multimedia content production consultant or firm to document community stories and project impact through high-quality photography and videography.
The assignment will focus on producing a 5-7-minute narrative short film highlighting Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) initiatives in Bobometo, Oe-Cusse, and visual documentation of two HAKBIIT success stories. Content will be used across Oxfam's communications, donor reporting, fundraising, social media, publications, and digital platforms.
Location: Oe-Cusse (Bobometo), Timor-Leste
Duration: 3 weeks (including fieldwork from 21-24 September 2026)
Start Date: 21 September 2026
Reports to: Communications Coordinator, Oxfam in Timor-Leste
Key Responsibilities
- Capture professional photography and video content in community settings.
- Record high-quality interview footage, audio, and supporting B-roll.
- Produce and edit a compelling 5-7-minute documentary-style film.
- Deliver visual content packages for 3 DRR stories and 2 HAKBIIT success stories.
- Organize and submit all raw and edited files.
- Ensure compliance with Oxfam's ethical storytelling, safeguarding, and consent standards.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in documentary, community-based or human-interest storytelling.
- Strong photography, videography, audio recording, and video editing skills.
- Experience working with NGOs, development organizations or similar sectors is an advantage.
- Ability to work in field environments across Timor-Leste.
- Access to professional equipment, including camera gear, audio equipment, drone, stabilization equipment, and editing software.
