Job description
The CPS is a global program working on the prevention of violence and peacebuilding in crisis and conflict regions. The CPS regional program SAUP supports three universities in the Philippines, Timor Leste and Cambodia developing curricula for peace and conflict studies. The aim of the program is to provide university partners with technical and human resource support in building their capacities in curriculum design and contextualisation by integrating best practices from local/traditional practices in non-violent conflict transformation. The CPS position links the work of advisory and technical support to personnel at Centro Nacional Chega (CNC) and Universidade da Paz (UNPAZ) in curriculum development in aspects of transitional justice, human rights and conflict transformation. The CPS Advisor is placed in the SAUP Hub in Phnom Penh and supports remotely with regular business trips to Timor-Leste. A full relocation to Dili, Timor-Leste is planned towards the end of 2024 to continue the work locally.

Please note that the general and personal living conditions in the country of assignment may meet with different legal and social acceptance. We gladly support you with our many years of experience.
