Role Summary
The Country Manager (CM) will lead a small team of local staff and volunteers, providing program vision aligned with EWB's 2030 Strategy. The position is responsible for strategic planning, program delivery, and business development in Timor-Leste.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and strengthen the capacity of the EWB in-country team
- Strategically plan and expand EWB's Timor-Leste Program
- Grow and maintain relationships with potential donors
- Manage in-country operational processes
- Guide and support technical project delivery
Selection Criteria
- Qualification in business administration, management, international development, engineering, or project management
- At least 5 years' program and team management experience
- Experience in funding opportunities and proposal writing
- Strategic planning and program management skills
- Stakeholder management experience
- Proficient in English and fluent in Tetun
Conditions
- 1 FTE, Permanent
- Location: Dili, Timor-Leste
- Open to Timorese nationals only
- Some domestic and overseas travel required
