Graphic Design - National Consultant

The objective of the graphic design component is to create visually compelling materials that effectively raise awareness about the project among the target audience. These materials will serve to educate and inspire action, conveying the project's goals and impact through impactful visuals.

Scope of the work:

  • Graphic design: Including the creation of posters, banners, brochures, presentations, and animation presentations specifically designed for the campaign awareness aspect of the project.
  • Collaborating with the project team to fully understand the objectives and concept of the graphic design and animation materials.
  • Providing regular updates and seeking feedback from the project team to ensure alignment with the project's vision.
  • Delivering the final graphic design and animation materials in the required format and resolution, ready for distribution across various platforms and channels.

Key tasks:

  1. Design and deliver quality graphic materials, PPTs.
  2. Collaboration with team, build capacity.
  3. Create visibly of the project using interactive medium.

Note: CI-TL will provide content for the materials and additional resources such as logos, a map, and existing photos.

Estimated Timeline

The consultant is required to complete the graphic design materials and presentations by the end of May 2024.

  • Preparation Phase (April): During this condensed timeline, our focus will be on the development of the communication plan, finalization of graphic design concepts, and initial preparations, including gathering necessary materials and resources.
  • Production Phase (April-May): This phase will involve the creation of graphic design materials such as posters, banners, brochures, presentations, and animation presentations. It will be crucial to efficiently utilize time and resources to ensure timely completion of design tasks.
  • Final Phase (May): In the final phase, we will focus on the finalization of graphic design materials for distribution, ensuring they are in the required format and resolution. Additionally, we will prepare evaluation and final reporting materials to assess the effectiveness of the graphic design campaign.
  1. Location of Task/Applicable Trips

This position is based in Dili with frequent travel to project sites.

  1. Required Skills and Experience of the Consultant.
  • Proven experience working with development agencies or international NGOs in graphic design, specifically in producing impactful and engaging materials for campaigns or awareness initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop visually compelling concepts and designs that effectively convey key messages.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software and tools, with the capability to create a wide range of materials such as posters, banners, brochures, presentations, and animation presentations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the project team and incorporate feedback into designs.
  • Understanding of the sensitivities and nuances surrounding campaign messaging and the ability to align designs with project goals and messaging.
