Partnership & Locally Led Development Coordinator

Salary Range: Minimum USD$900 up to USD$1200 Maximum Per Month Gross Salary Plus other Benefits

As the Partnership and Locally Led Coordinator you ensure that ChildFund is able to deliver better outcomes in partnership with civil society and local government through strengthening partnership management practices. You are responsible for 1) coordinating the strategic, capacity strengthening/sharing and compliance aspects of partnership and locally led and (2) support the focal point to ensure Gender Equality, Disability and Social inclusion (GEDSI) is reflected in our partnership and locally led practices and capacity strengthening effort.

KEY DUTIES

  1. Lead and support efforts to establish new partnerships and to maintain positive engagements with the Civil Society Organisation and government partners.
  2. Coordinate the partnership process with ChildFund Timor-Leste partners in line with the Partnerships Engagement policy and Partnership toolkit, ensuring relevant teams and staff are informed, trained and supported in a timely manner.
  3. Support project lead in strengthening the project partnership outcomes and promote a values-driven approach to partnerships.
  4. Support the management team in the implementation of the Locally-led development Action Plan including the scoping of new strategic partnership opportunities that contribute to the realization of ChildFund’s commitments to Locally led development.
  5. Oversee and support efforts to strengthen the organisational capacity of program partners to develop their organization and its people and to meet best practice standards and donor requirements.
  6. Organize and facilitate meetings and workshops with partners to encourage reflection, learning, and capacity sharing.
  7. Collaborate with the Partnership Advisor, Sydney Office to ensure accurate records and databases are maintained for partnership management, learning and compliance purposes.
  8. Collaborate with the focal point for Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) - to ensure that GEDSI is reflected in our partnership and locally led development practices and capacity strengthening effort.
  9. Represent and promote ChildFund Timor Leste at relevant local and national working groups and forums.
  10. Provide logistical support in organizing the consultation meeting with Project Leads, Focal Points in Country, and Advisors in Sydney in development of CFTL advocacy plan.
  11. Collaborate with MEL Coordinator to maintain accurate records in MEL apps and databases for partnership purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as gender studies, social sciences, international development, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience in providing technical guidance in civil society engagement, partnership management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven project coordination skills, including planning, organizing, facilitating, training and monitoring.
  • Proven ability to synthesise complex information into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using Ms. Office and M&E platforms.
  • Experience with supporting change management processes including organisational development, strategic planning and financial management would be an added advantage.
