Organisational Context

ChildFund Australia is a registered charity, a member of the Australian Council for International Development, and fully accredited by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade which manages the Australian Government's overseas aid program.

Purpose of the Position

As the Health Project Coordinator, you will oversee and coordinate project implementation, assist the project field officers with training, and monitor partner project staff to improve health and nutrition education for communities, including vulnerable groups.

Key Duties

  • Coordinate and support the successful implementation of the project activities in target Municipalities in close coordination with implementing partner
  • Provide supervision and technical support to the project field officers
  • Prepare activity Terms of Reference and coordinate with line Ministries
  • Provide supervision to Partners project staff and strengthen coordination
  • Ensure key stakeholders involvement and coordination
  • Support Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)
  • Undertake regular field visits
  • Support in development of concept papers, project proposals
  • Promote Child Protection and integrate GEDSI

Qualifications & Experience

  • University Degree in Public Health, Community Health and Development, Agriculture Food Security and/or Nutrition
  • Demonstrated skills in project coordination and team management with an (I)NGO
  • At least 3 years of experience in relevant sectors
  • Valid Motorcycle license
  • Experience in providing training is an advantage
