Purpose of the Position
As the Field Officer you will support day-to-day field implementation of project activities including education and health promotion, leading adolescent sexual and reproductive health session for adolescent at school and community level, manage to work closely with the community health volunteers PSF and healthcare workers in order to conduct outreach activity in the community level, support PSF to conduct health promotion and referral of community to health facility. Additionally, you will support the data collection, reporting, and coordination with stakeholders in the Municipality level to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.
Key Duties
- Lead the implementation, supervision, and monitoring of the Referral Engagement and Access to Community Health (REACH) project within Lautem Municipality.
- Facilitate and monitor community-level health promotion sessions, Male Engagement Sessions, and PDI-NERS, providing coaching and mentorship to community health volunteers.
- Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including the Municipal Health Services (MHS), Community Health Centers (CHC), Health Post (HP), community leaders, and local authorities in Lautem Municipality to ensure effective program implementation.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive activity and financial reports to the Health Project Manager, and contribute to the development of annual, quarterly, and monthly project work plans and reports.
- Collaborate with the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team to ensure accurate consolidation of beneficiary data based on the master database.
- Actively participate in weekly and monthly coordination meetings at both Municipal and post-administrative levels.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in relevant field such as Public Health, Nutrition, Development Studies, etc.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant field experience.
- Experience working with communities and local stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to ride motorbike and work independently in remote areas.
- Knowledge of local language(s) is an advantage.
Desirable
- Experience in the international development/NGO or government sector in Timor-Leste
- Experience overseeing administration and logistics processes

Location: Lautem Municipality, Timor Leste
Duration: One year fixed term contract
