As a member of the F2F project team, the Project Coordinator will coordinate and report on all approved program activities and timelines. The coordinator provides technical assistance to incoming F2F volunteers, establishes and maintains positive relationships with both government (national & local) and host organizations, and is responsible for managing day-to-day administrative-related work including the program’s assets. A thorough and service-oriented approach will ensure that the project consistently applies best practices and constantly works towards improving the impact of its benefits to those it serves. This position will be based in Dili, Timor-Leste.
Roles and Key Responsibilities:
- Support the coordination and implementation of all project activities as outlined in the detailed implementation plan in close collaboration with the F2F project director.
- Coordinate capacity building and technical assistance needs of partner organizations, ensuring effective impact per project guidelines and standards.
- Maintain communication and relationships with host organizations, volunteers, the country program team, and stakeholders.
- Manage the F2F program administration and make sure that all financial acquittals requirements and deadlines are meet.
- Organize meetings, events, and seminars at national and municipal levels as required by the program.
- Ensure compliance with the F2F MEAL system and donor requirements, including documentation of reports and Indicator Tracking Table (ITT).
- Analyze MEAL data and prepare information required for program reports.
- Collaborate with the procurement and administration team to provide logistical and administrative support to volunteers and host organizations.
- Monitor and report challenges and gaps identified to inform adjustments to plans and implementation schedules and assist host organizations in reflecting on project experiences.
- Prepare reports and project documentation for assigned activities and assist with identifying information for case studies and reports on promising practices.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required, (preferably in Agriculture, Nutrition, or International Affairs).
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in project support. Experience in the field of agribusiness or agriculture, food security, nutrition, natural resource management, or livestock development for an NGO would be a plus. Additional experience may substitute for some education.
- Experience in participatory action planning and community engagement.
- Experience monitoring projects and collecting relevant data.
- Experience using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Required Languages - Able to clearly communicate in written and spoken English and Tetun
Travel - 50 percent of the time is anticipated to be spent in the field. This includes engaging with host organizations and accompanying volunteers to their assignment sites.
