The Role
CARE in Timor – Leste is currently seeking a Senior Project Officer for a Potential Labor Mobility project subject to awards granting.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Lead and facilitate all training sessions as required by the project
- Work closely with the project manager to develop an effective training programs and delivery methods
- Work closely with the project manager, and CARE Gender & Program Quality Unit to develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, handouts and assessments
- Work closely with the project senior MEL officers to develop training assessment methods to assess the effectiveness of the training programs through pre- and post-training assessments, feedback surveys, and observation of project outcomes
- Liaise with the external trainers and local partners engaged in the project
Selection Criteria
- Proven experience in project management, particularly with an international development agency
- Proven experience and strong knowledge in leading and managing training programs, including development of training materials
- Proven experience and strong knowledge in developing Training Needs Analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated experience engaging external stakeholders and writing donor and/or stakeholder reports
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Ability to travel locally, including to the most rural areas of the country
