Partnership and Advocacy Senior Officer

The Role

The Partnership and Advocacy Senior Officer will work with Gender and Program Quality Unit and be responsible for ensuring implementation of the partnership and advocacy strategy within the organization as well as maintain effective engagement with key governments, and CSO's.

CARE in Timor-Leste is currently seeking a Senior Partnership and Advocacy Officer who is responsible for partnership and advocacy within the organization and program.

Selection Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in social work, gender studies, community development or another relevant field
• Minimum two years of experience in partnership and advocacy related in Timor-Leste
• Experience working with NGO's and local partners
• Experience in coordination and relationship management skills
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Good written and spoken English

• Reports to: Senior Manager-Gender and Program Quality Unit
• Grade: 5
• Position type: Fixed-Term, Full-Time
• Start date: August 2026 (subject to funding approval)
