Background
The Asia Foundation (the Foundation) is implementing the Nabilan: Ending Violence Against Women and Children (EVAWC) Program in Timor-Leste under a grant agreement with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The program began on 15 April 2014 and, with the extension in Phase III, will run until June 2026. The Nabilan Program goal is to ensure that women and children in Timor-Leste enjoy gender equality and live free from violence.
Position Accountabilities
Technical Input:
- Lead the implementation of the Case Management Audit process for partners
- Lead the development of a disability inclusion plan for the Services pillar of the program
- Lead the development of appropriate client services standards with MSSI and referral network members
- Support the re-accreditation process for the Certificate III in Social Services
- Manage child-friendly counselling training program
- Provide case management support to partners
- Review reports and data collection
- Support M&E systems
Requirements
Education
- University bachelor's or master's degree in social work, community or international development, gender or related field
Experience and Skills
- Five years of relevant experience in development programs in Timor-Leste
- Experience in working on programs aimed at ending violence against women
- Experience in developing training and mentoring staff
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Tetum
- Commitment to feminist values and principles
