About the Project
World Vision Timor-Leste is implementing the EU POWER Project (Promotion of Women Through Economic Empowerment and Rights) and seeks qualified suppliers to provide materials, equipment, and services to support women-led enterprises and producer groups in Covalima and Oecusse.
This activity will provide in-kind support (seeds, tools, small machinery, livestock inputs, etc.) to women entrepreneurs and producer groups so they can grow their businesses, increase household income, and strengthen community resilience. Your supplies will directly help local families and empower women to lead sustainable livelihoods.
Scope of Work
- Supply and deliver items listed in the Terms of Reference and Purchase Orders
- Meet the technical specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedule
- Cooperate with WVTL monitoring and follow child protection and COVID-19 safety rules
Eligibility
- Registered suppliers operating in Timor-Leste with experience in agricultural inputs, small machinery, tools, or livestock supplies
- Suppliers who can deliver on time, ensure quality, and follow WVTL safeguarding policies
- Women-owned and locally based businesses are encouraged to apply
Required Documents
- Completed supplier application form
- Copy of owner ID (Electoral Card, BI, or Passport)
- Company registration / SERVE Certificate
- Bank account details
- Technical proposal (specifications, quantities, delivery plan)
- Evidence of past work (references, photos, delivery notes)
- Statement of compliance with child protection and COVID-19 protocols
Additional Information
- Shortlisted suppliers may be asked for clarifications, samples, or a site visit
- WVTL will monitor delivery and distribution and follow up for 3-6 months
- WVTL reserves the right to accept or reject proposals in line with procurement policies
- WVTL has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse or exploitation. All suppliers must follow child protection and safety standards
