Job Purpose
This role will help WVTL staff easily access, use, and share knowledge to improve their work. You'll strengthen documentation and data systems, support learning and reflection processes, and help us build a culture of accountability.
You'll start by improving document and data practices in Program Quality & Operations, and gradually help expand learning across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge & Document Management (30%)
- Improve document standards and filing practices
- Support staff with hands-on training to ensure consistent use of systems (Teams, IMPAQ)
- Maintain and improve data systems for easier access and use
Learning & Reflection (40%)
- Facilitate team reflections and learning reviews
- Summarize insights and lessons from field work
- Develop simple ways to share learning across the organization
Digital Tools & Data (20%)
- Support data collection and dashboards (Kobo, Excel)
- Ensure data is high-quality, protected, and useful for decision-making
- Capture lessons from digital innovations
Accountability (10%)
- Support WVTL's accountability framework
- Ensure community feedback mechanisms are used effectively
- Help staff adapt work based on feedback and standards
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years' experience in research or action learning
- Strong skills in learning facilitation, documentation, and using digital tools
- Bachelor's in Social Science, Development Studies, or Management
- A great listener who enjoys helping others learn
- Knowledge of community-led development preferred
- 4 years of related field experience is an advantage
