Key Responsibilities
Driving (50%)
- Using the vehicle for the WVTL project or general office-related matters
- Driving responsibly, following traffic signs, and respecting speed limits and other internal regulations for vehicle use
- Maintaining a logbook that includes: the kilometers driven each day, the driver or assignment mission, any irregularities or damage to the vehicle, and any maintenance performed on the vehicle
- Preparing accident reports for WVTL
Maintenance (40%)
- Report the vehicle for maintenance according to the specified mileage or after any major accidents
- Perform general maintenance on the vehicle, including cleaning, tire air pressure, brake fluid, radiator, oil checks, fuel levels, and spare tires
- Ensure adequate fuel at the end of each day
- Assist in preparing the vehicle maintenance card for each vehicle
- Request vehicle spare parts if needed
- Provide a work report for each maintenance session and highlight potential issues that were not resolved in the last maintenance
- Perform preventive and forecasted maintenance
- Complete the daily maintenance and repair records
Others (10%)
- Responsible to demonstrate the organizational mission, vision and core values
- Additional task request by supervisors and other team members
Required Qualifications
- At least minimum of 2 years of appropriated professional experience and knows the assigned areas
- Fluent in Tetun and preferably in the local dialects (Baikenu) in the area where you are serving
- Preferable have experience in driving 4-wheel drive car
- Must have proven and proper driving license
- Minimum Senior High School Graduate
- Good Presentation and communication skills for a number of different audiences
