About the Role
- Position: Casual Worker (4 positions)
- Project: Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Project
- Duty Station: WVTL National Office, Dili, with frequent travel to target municipalities
- Contract Period: November 2026 – January 2027 (3 months, full-time), with possible extension subject to available budget
- Reports to: PALM Project Manager
Purpose
The Casual Workers will support the project team as co-facilitators and provide administrative, logistical, and operational support to ensure efficient coordination and timely delivery of PALM Project activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative support: preparing documentation, maintaining project files, organising participant registration, preparing certificates, and acting as MC at opening events
- Logistics support: venue preparation, procurement and distribution of training materials, transportation and accommodation arrangements
- Project implementation support: assisting facilitation, coordinating with municipal stakeholders, and supporting participant communication before and during training events
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field (preferred)
- Experience in project support, administration, or logistics (advantage)
- Strong organisational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently and in a team
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Fluency in Tetum required; English and Portuguese an advantage
- Commitment to World Vision values and safeguarding principles
