WorldFish is seeking a motivated, dynamic, and energetic team player who will be responsible to provide comprehensive duties as directed by the Supervising Officer, using the prescribed methods and frequencies in line with the requirements of the cleaning specification.
The successful candidate will be responsible to:
- Perform receptionist duties including receiving mail, attending to guest, assisting in photocopy, printing, and scanning, etc.
- Assist with organizing training/workshop/seminar; organize the list of participants, make sure the meals are prepared).
- Prepare purchase requisitions when the stock (cleaning materials and pantry refill) is low.
- Ensure office utilities and consumables are securely stored in proper places.
- Ensure the offices (main office and container office), kitchen and rest rooms are clean and tidy.
- Clean, and disinfect the toilets and wash basins regularly.
- Sweep and mop the floors to maintain cleanliness and to control dust.
- Dust/polish/clean all surfaces including equipment that needs to be cleaned and used for meetings and seminars.
- Ensure that there is always drinking water available and boiled water is available for staff to make their own tea or coffee throughout the day.
- Arrange the refreshment (food and beverages) service when required.
- Maintain and report to the Supervising Officer immediately if there are any losses or breakages of utensil.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties assigned by Supervising Officer.
Requirements
This job might be for you if you have the below skills and qualifications:
- Complete high school.
- Proven working experience as a cleaner.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Efficiency in the delivery of all listed services above.

This position is ONLY open to citizens of Timor-Leste. The duration of the contract will initially be for 12 months with possibility for extension, depending on funding and performance.
