Senior Human Resource Management Adviser to Civil Service Commission (CSC)

The Partnership for Inclusive Prosperity / Parseria ba Prosperidade Inklusivu (PROSIVU) Program is seeking a Senior Human Resource Management Adviser to provide strategic and technical HRM advisory support to CSC to advance the implementation of civil service reforms approved by the Council of Ministers and strengthen HRM systems, policies, processes and institutional capacity across the public sector.

PROSIVU is an Australian Government program supported by DT Global. PROSIVU is the next phase of Australia's governance support to Timor-Leste. The program will extend Australia's longstanding partnership with Timor-Leste in support of good governance and economic policy development. It is Australia's primary program for providing support to Timor-Leste's central government agencies and economic line-ministries.

This is a Locally Engaged Staff position.

Essential Experience and Knowledge

• A Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Public Policy, or a related field
• A Minimum 10 years of professional experience in human resource management, preferably within the public sector

Desirable

• Experience working in Timor-Leste or similar contexts
• Familiarity with Timor-Leste civil service legal and institutional frameworks
