- Manage the Local Governance Advisors under Region Three (Ainaro, Bobonaro, Covalima & Manufahi) to deliver the agreed priorities and workplans between PARTISIPA and the Municipal Presidents, within the parameters of Ministry of State Administration and Ministry of Public Works priorities.
- Ensure effective coordination between the sub-national teams of PARTISIPA and technical advisors at the national level.

About You
- A degree in a relevant field (international development, community development, public administration, decentralisation, local governance or similar).
- At least five years relevant experience in community development with a good understanding of ongoing decentralization processes in the Municipalities and with adequate knowledge of development context in Timor-Leste.
- Experience working with or supporting Government of Timor-Leste systems.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a multi-disciplinary and geographically dispersed team.
- Demonstrated experience with urban or regional planning and budgeting mechanisms.
- Demonstrated experience of capacity building activities and knowledge transfer to counterparts.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Tetun and solid proficiency in English.
- Ability to be flexible, responsive to requests, motivated, ability to prioritise in a busy work environment and manage differing perspectives.
