Consultant for GEDSI Transformation Partnership

PARTISIPA is looking for an experienced consultant, organisation or consultancy firm to support the program to undertake an internal GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion) transformation process. This process is expected to support PARTISIPA staff to critically evaluate and strengthen ways of working, systems, understanding, beliefs and practice about GEDSI and integrate a Do-No-Harm approach into programming.

The initial contract period would be one year, but the partnership is expected to be a long-term arrangement that will be able to support PARTISIPA over a number of years – with scope to extend if all partners agree.

OBJECTIVES

• To support PARTISIPA to transform its culture, ways of working, internal systems and staff understanding and commitment to be more GEDSI sensitive.
• Develop a clear and realistic multi-year plan to do this and lead implementation of the plan with the support of the PARTISIPA GEDSI and Senior Leadership Team.
• To support PARTISIPA to develop and implement Do-No-Harm strategies across programming.

OUTCOMES

• PARTISIPA has a clear and realistic long term GEDSI transformation plan.
• PARTISIPA is a more inclusive and safe space for women, men, persons with disabilities, LGBTIQA+ and other people with diverse identities.
• PARTISIPA has strengthened systems and ways of working that are GEDSI sensitive.
• PARTISIPA has integrated Do-No-Harm into programming, including program monitoring.
• PARTISIPA staff have increased understanding of GEDSI and this influences their work and lives.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested bidders should review the attached terms of reference to understand the complete scope and requirements of the partnership.  Proposals will be evaluated based on experience, approach and team; interested bidders are requested to present their proposals in this format.   

1. Experience – background on your organisation and examples of similar work that you have undertaken.
2. Approach – an overview of how your organisation would approach achieving the required outputs in Milestone 1 of the attached terms of reference.
3. Team – an overview of your proposed team with daily rate costings for all roles (please complete attached pricing table). Also include CVs of at least two specified lead personnel.
