MDF helps government and business partners to identify markets that have high potential to grow, be profitable, and deliver social and environmental value.
Key Responsibilities
- Meeting with stakeholders and conducting fieldwork across the country
- Conducting socioeconomic analysis and assessing business environment
- Creating strategies to address constraints and achieve development objectives
- Designing innovative activities and working with various organizations
- Developing relationships with program partners and stakeholders
- Monitoring progress and working with M&E team
- Applying inclusion frameworks and strategies
- Working with communications staff
- Supporting program administration
Key Requirements
- Positive attitude and inquisitive mind
- Excellent critical analysis and English language skills
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with local economy issues
- Ability to work individually and in teams
Desirable Skills
- Excellent Tetun language skills
- Post graduate degree in related discipline
- Experience in tourism or agriculture sectors
