Marie Stopes International (MSI) is the leading sexual and reproductive health care provider working in over 37 countries. MSI's mission is to ensure every child is a wanted child, and that individuals have a choice on whether to get pregnant and for those wanting to delay or space their pregnancies, choice in what family planning methods they can access. Since 2007, MSITL has been supporting Timor-Leste's MoH to achieve the national maternal health goals.

Position Overview

As a member of the Programs team, the Clinic Doctor is responsible for providing all aspects of quality, comprehensive sexual and reproductive (SRH) services. This includes the provision of clinical services, stock management, all aspects of clinical governance, infection prevention process and Medical Emergency Management.

• Clinical referrals and Administration

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of medicine (MBBS)
• Have a valid Professional License
• 3 years' experience in relevant area
• Post registration experience preferred
• Gynaecological experience preferred
• Family planning experience preferred
• Experience in program planning, management, and reporting is preferred
• Advanced communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to quickly adapt to change

Skills

• Fluency in Tetun and English
• Ability to prioritize and manage workload
• Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
• Ability to be flexible and support the needs of the team as required

Requirements of Role

• Available to work outside of work hours and some weekends
• Light physical activity such as bending over, lifting items, exposure to cleaning materials and/or chemicals
