Duties and responsibilities:
Outreach
- Coordinate, organize and manage SENTRU outreach program activities by distributing SEN TRU information to public, school and community.
- Engage with IOB Communication department to provide information about SENTRU in IOB website or Facebook page about outreach initiatives and student enrollment.
- Communicate with prospective students through social networking platforms, email, Facebook, and text messages.
- Developing linkages and maintaining effective working relationships with other youth training center, hotel/business association, organization and community.
- Assist and support SENTRU team in developing and implementing workshops, seminar and public talk on youth program.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a marketing plan and ensure active promotion of the service using a range of social media.
- Provide administrative support for the SENTRU activities as required. For example, planning and organize of outreach activities and student recruitment process and manage student database.
- Design, develop and produce SENTRU WYCF brochures, sticker, booklet for public information.
Enrollment
- Plan, coordinate, organize and manage enrollment process such student enrolment, application, registration, filing and input to data base.
- Manage and organize student enrollment application, registration and selection of documentation.
- Participates in planning, developing, and evaluating enrollment and outreach initiatives
- Ensuring all students data, forms, reports and necessary documentation are proper manage and documented and input.
- Responsible to maintain & update records of the enrolled participants and the different activities.
- Evaluate, monitor and prepare report on all activities related to SENTRU outreach and enrollment activities.
- Work to promote college access and readiness through various community outreach efforts
- Conducts intake and assessment to confirm student eligibility and suitability for program.
- Analyzing and interpreting application and student data when required for impact and evaluation purposes,
- Provide regular assistance and monitoring to student actively participate training program.
Other Task Required
- Deliver a targeted recruitment plan for student enrollment.
- To work closely with SENTRU team to develop and design training program for student.
- To comply in the maintaining of all systems and procedures in place; student application, registration from and up-to-date student files.
- Attend meetings to exchange ideas and information and share good practice.
- Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation is completed in relation to outreach and enrollment after activities at SENTRU.
- To perform other duties assigned required by SNETRU.
Skill and abilities:
- Ability to effectively develop and nurture relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks.
- Ability to enthusiastically communicate with potential enrollees.
- Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, internet-based applications and the Microsoft operating system.
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of people in workshops and presentations.
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills, incorporating the appropriate level.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn and apply training instruction.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities
Education and experience required:
- Graduated from University in area of Education, Public Relation, Economic, Business or Management or equivalent qualifications.
- At least 3-5 years of working experiences of outreach and enrollment.
- Proven track record of successful project plan, coordination and delivery, including management.
- Self-motivated and able to meet agreed objectives on own initiative and meet agreed deadlines
- Proven ability to priorities work and attention to detail
- Adaptable, flexible and resourceful in work
- Proven ability to motivate and relate successfully to prospective students
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively through speech and writing.
- Ability to identify, communicate, and analyze problems.
- Ability to take ownership and utilize constructive feedback.
- Must be punctual, professional, and ethically conduct oneself.
- Ability to plan and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work respectfully within a team environment.
