Job Overview
The Sales Manager assists the Director of Sales in leading and supervising the Sales Team. This role oversees and directs all aspects of the negotiation and coordination process as well as the successful handling of Corporate / FIT / M.I.C.E. / Social / Tour & Travel events as assigned. The Sales Manager leads the team to ensure smooth operation of the department to maximize business opportunities and deliver the highest service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete relevant Hilton University courses and pass tests
- Promote and sell all hotel products, including rooms, catering, and banquets
- Develop and execute sales plans
- Understand customer needs through various forms of communication
- Produce quotations, send contracts, and follow-up promptly
- Operate hotel reservation system
- Establish and maintain good relationships with customers
- Collect and share market and industry information
- Welcome key customers and VIPs
- Motivate and train department employees
- Ensure effective communication between Sales and Operations teams
- Handle guest feedback and complaints
- Maximize sales and forecast team and banquet revenue
- Participate in marketing plan development
- Design new hotel products and set sales targets
- Organize customer experiences and team building events
- Analyze tourist source cities and expand channels
Qualifications
- Junior College degree
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in international hotel chains
- Good English skills (reading and writing preferred)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Market analysis skills and understanding of local customers
- Existing customer resources preferred
