HEINEKEN Timor is currently seeking for Mechenical Technician to carry our all mechanical repairs/maintenance of all equipment/mechinery in prder to facilitate uninterrupted production flow with base of operation is in Hera Brewery.
Position reports to: Unplanned Maintenance Team Leader
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures when carrying out all activities e.g. Working at height and having the appropriate PPE
- Execute maintenance work properly using risk assessment, LOTO and work permit procedures
- Issue work permits to third parties contractors and monitor their actions where safety non-compliance occurs
- Attend daily control system (DCS) meetings and discuss safety issues
- Demonstrate use of appropriate maintenance materials and tools for each maintenance task
- Execute and demonstrate CILT to machine owners. Provide feedback where anomalies are found
- Analyse CILT standards and propose small modifications to the equipment/machinery
- Execute maintenance work according to fixed schedule and sets priorities upon receipt of work orders
- Provide feedback to maintenance planner on discrepancies in work order and actual maintenance activities performed
- Execute troubleshooting and fault finding procedures. Execute periodic preventative maintenance inspections of all machines and control systems. Diagnose existing or potential troubles, clean, lubricate, calibrate and adjust per indicated conditions
- Participate in RCFA for breakdowns and minor stops using TPM tools. Execute simple improvement actions as countermeasures
- Implement improvements to reduce time to repair
- Coordinate with engineering stores to obtain all required spares and in the event of unavailability raise an urgent request in the log to purchase whilst using a substitute/modification to rectify the issue temporarily to reduce production downtime
- Adhere to energy saving practices and identify/recommend possible enhancements/ modifications (using local spares) as per production requirements in order to optimize plant efficiency/ cost reduction
- Record breakdowns on BDA form timely
- Apply TPM methodologies for analysis and improvements
Key Criteria:
- Minimum Diploma of Mechanical, Mechatronic or Industrial Engineering
- At least 1 year of working experience in the related field
- Basic knowledge in Mechanical (Theory and practical)
- Having welding and mechanical workshop skills
- Honest, disciplined, proactive, hardworking and able to work under pressure and timeline
- good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good level of English (Mandatory)
