The Role
Under the supervision of the Logistics Manager, the Senior Administration and Security Officer ensures the efficient functioning of CARE's Dili office and the safety of staff, assets, and operations. This role combines two areas: Administration and Safety & Security. In Administration, the role manages office facilities, services, and logistics to support daily operations. In Safety & Security, the role implements safety protocols, coordinating security services, and supporting secure travel for staff and visitors.
Selection Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in administration, management or equivalent, preferably in administration
- Minimum 5 years of the similar role in international NGO or similar organization in Timor-Leste
- Demonstrated honesty, maintaining confidentiality, reliability and trustworthiness
- Representational skills include developing networks and relationships with key stakeholders
- Fully conversant in Microsoft Office with knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel and excellent numeric skills
- Proficient in operating systems such as SUN, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to other relevant ERP and SCM platforms
