About the Position
The Partnership for Inclusive Prosperity / Parseria ba Prosperidade Inklusivu (PROSIVU) Program is seeking a Consultant AML CFT Risk Assessment – NPO Sector to improve the quality of AML/CFT procedures in Timor-Leste, particularly regarding the risks related to the NPO sector, through a risk assessment of the NPO sector in Timor-Leste.
The overall objective of the risk assessment is to provide an understanding of the risk of money laundering and terrorism financing posed by the NPO sector in Timor-Leste.
This is a short-term international position.
Essential Experience and Knowledge
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as law, finance, banking, accounting, business administration or related fields
- 15 years of experience with at least 7 years of experience in AML/CFT area
- Significant knowledge and understanding of the latest FATF Recommendations and Assessment Methodology including national risk assessment methodologies
- International experience in conducting national assessments of ML and TF risks and assessment of NPO sector for compliance with AML/CFT international standards
- Demonstrated experience in report writing and preparation of high-quality public documents in English
- Excellent communication, including the ability to clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and implementation plans to stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge
